The staff of the Afrikaans language museum and monument (ATM) visited Rondeheuwel Primary in Hermon on Thursday, 22 July 2021. In support of Nelson Mandela Day and Month they handed out backpacks, sweets and toiletries to the 265 learners. The school includes about 200 households – food parcels were also donated to all of them. We would like to thank the sponsors – Atlantic Trailers, Dot Pastries and Izembe Trading – for their generous contribution. Mandela Day is celebrated annually on July 18 – people worldwide are encouraged to spend # 67 minutes on that day for the sake of their communities.
